Guy is a public policy professional with experience working in legislatures, think tanks, and governments across three different countries. He joined WPI Economics as a Senior Consultant in July 2016 after completing a Master of Public Policy Degree at the University of Toronto, where he was a Cadario scholar and a two time national case competition silver medallist. He also holds a degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Durham.

Guy has worked as a policy analyst in the Strategy and Results Branch of the Ontario Public Service, where has was responsible for the design of a delivery and risk tracking system that was rolled out across government. Prior to this he held a variety of positions, including as a Research Fellow at Policy Exchange where he co-authored reports on welfare reform, and as a Research Assistant at the Institute on Municipal Finance and Governance. He was also one of the five students selected nationwide for the English Speaking Union’s Capitol Hill program, where he was a legislative intern for Congressman Don Young.
