British Land’s ‘Design for Life’ campaign

WPI Strategy have worked with the FTSE 100 property developer British Land on a ground-breaking new campaign and report which reveals the benefits of good urban design on wellbeing, mental health and the UK economy.

In a new report, entitled ‘A Design for Life‘ , well designed urban environments are established as a major factor in promoting urban wellbeing, reducing employee absenteeism and usage of NHS and social care services. The net benefit to the economy could be as much as £15bn.

The report was well received by major policy makers in both major parties, including Secretary of State for Health, Matthew Hancock MP, and Shadow Minister for Planning, Roberta Blackman-Woods MP.
